To cook prime rib in the comfort of your own kitchen, start by removing the excess fat off the bottom of the cut. Combine a half cup of fresh, chopped parsley, half cup rosemary, half cup tarragon and a quarter cup of thyme. Put these ingredients along with some salt and pepper into a bowl. Next, add a quarter cup of olive oil. Coat the prime rib with this mixture. Cook at 325 degrees for approximately 2.5 hours or until the roast’s interior temperature gets to 120 degrees. Lastly, let prime rib rest for about ten minutes prior to serving.
