If you're seeking an exceptional dining experience, look no further than FoxFire. This premier restaurant in Geneva, IL, has been serving exquisite meals since 2003. Over the past two decades, FoxFire has received numerous accolades, including being named one of the Top New Restaurants - Best in the West by West Suburban Living and Top Ten New Restaurants by the Daily Herald upon its opening in 2003. FoxFire has also been featured on On the Fox's Top Ten list and was recognized for having the Best Steaks by the Kane County Chronicle in 2018 and 2019. Additionally, in 2019, Big City Travel Magazine named FoxFire one of the top 15 steakhouses in Illinois, and in 2023, it was honored as the Steakhouse of the Year by Certified Angus Beef®. In 2024, FoxFire was recognized as the Best Steakhouse by the Kane County Chronicle.
We are thrilled to offer you a warm and charming dining experience in our historically rich building, which has served various roles over the years. Founder Curt Gulbro restored the space, showcasing its original beauty with wooden trellises and exposed brick. Although Curt passed away in August, his legacy of community and hospitality continues to inspire us. We strive to make every guest feel at home, honoring his spirit through warmth and great food.

Celebrated our 3 year Anniversary tonight at Foxfire. It was our first time here but we had read reviews so we wanted to try it out. Honestly an amazing place. The atmosphere was perfect for our celebration. The staff was so welcoming and checked on us often. We had the gold margaritas to start which were really flavorful! We also had the goat cheese appetizer. We only wanted a little to save room for dinner but it was so good, we didn't stop!

Excellent food! Bacon wrapped dates, Napa chicken and Ribeye steak. All absolutely delicious. Great service and a comfortable atmosphere. We had a wonderful date night! Highly recommend!

Great steak place near the Fox River. The Prime Rib special on Thursday night was great. The price was great too! The crab cakes were yummy and the baked French onion soup was perfect. I asked for gluten free bread in my soup and they were able to do it. It was great. Our waiter, was very professional and good. Thanks for a nice evening out.

My husband and I visited for a late lunch/early dinner. Alcohol options are endless, and I enjoyed both some wine and a delicious chocolate martini for dessert. We started with the prime rib egg rolls that were amazing, the French onion soup (also amazing), and then my husband had a giant perfectly cooked patty melt burger and I went all out and had the Pittsburgh ribeye...it was one of THE best steaks I've ever had...

- Monday through Thursday: 4:00PM to 9:00 PM (online orders close 30 minutes before closing)
- Friday and Saturday: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM (online orders close 30 minutes before closing)
- Sunday: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (online orders close 30 minutes before closing)
Additionally, our bar remains open for at least one hour after the kitchen closes, based on business levels.
